SIR WYN WILLIAMS:

1

This is an application for an extension to an interim suspension order which has been imposed by the appropriate committee of the claimant. There have been a number of reviews of the interim suspension order, all of which reached the conclusion that the continuation of the order was justified.

2

I am now asked as a judicial officer to sanction a further extension to the order. I have received appropriate evidence in support in the form of a witness statement from Mr Barwick, dated 14 August 2017, and I have read with care a skeleton argument prepared by Ms Scott, who appears for the applicant.

3

I am completely satisfied that the criteria which need to be satisfied for the making of an extension exist in this case, and accordingly I make the order which is sought. I have been provided with a draft order. I propose to approve that draft and that will be the order made by the court.

MS SCOTT: I am grateful, my Lord.
