J U D G M E N T

1.

MR JUSTICE OUSELEY: This is an appeal in respect of a conviction European arrest warrant for assault on police officers and various public order offences for which the appellant has been sentenced to one year and four months, of which one year and two months and two days remains to be served in respect of offences dating from 2004 to 2006.

2.

The appellant had raised arguments in relation to Article 8 and delay.

3.

Mr Attlee has advised in terms which appear not to have been accepted but it is clear that the advice was not encouraging. I entirely understand from the circumstances why such advice would have been given but the application by Mr Attlee to come off the record is refused. It has come too late to be acceded to. He is really unable to advance any submissions.

4.

The appeal is accordingly dismissed.
