Judgment

1.

MR JUSTICE WALKER: In this matter orders initially were made involving conditions against the registration of the defendant. However in the light of new information, in April 2007 the claimant made an order of suspension which is due to expire on 27 May 2007. I have been provided with details of the new information. I am satisfied that that new information is such as to make it appropriate that the order of suspension be extended for a further 12 months so as to expire on 27 May 2008. Accordingly I make that order.

2.

I also order that there be no disclosure to non-parties of any documents relating to the present application apart from the claim form and this order without permission of the court. That is because the information contained in the material that has been supplied is of a confidential nature and it must remain confidential until further order. I also direct that any application for disclosure of documents is to be made on notice to the parties.

3.

The claimant asks for costs. The defendant has, at one stage, volunteered to take himself off the register on his own application. That has not happened and he has not consented to the proposed order. In those circumstances it is right that I make an order for costs in favour of the claimant. I am not willing however to assess the costs in the amount that is asserted in the statement of costs given to me this morning. I shall make an order for detailed assessment of those costs.
