Decided without a hearing

and

THE REGISTRAR OF APPROVED DRIVING INSTRUCTORS

Decision: The appeal is struck out pursuant to Rule 8(3)(c) of The Tribunal Procedure (First-tier Tribunal) (General Regulatory Chamber) Rules 2008.

REASONS

1.

The Appellant filed an appeal using the GRC1 form. The appeal was incomplete as the Appellant did not include a copy of the decision they sought to challenge.

2.

By Directions issued on 30th April 2026 the Appellant was required to provide a copy of the decision to the Tribunal by 15th March and warned that the Tribunal was considering striking out the appeal. He was warned that failure to provide the decision could result in the Tribunal striking out the appeal without further notice.

3.

On 11th May 2026 the Respondent applied for the application to be struck out on the basis that the case had no reasonable prospect of success, as set out in the directions issued by Judge Buckley on 30th April.

4.

No response has been received in response either to the directions or the later application from the Respondent. I am satisfied that he has been given the opportunity to respond, as is required under Rule 8(4).

5.

The appeal is therefore struck out under Rule 8(3)(c) on the basis that is has no reasonable prospect of success.
