NCN: [2025] UKFTT 01289 (GRC)

Case No. FT/EA/2025/0362

In the First-tier Tribunal

(General Regulatory Chamber)

Information Rights

Before: Judge Armstrong-Holmes

Appellant: Tina Irving

Respondent(s): Information Commissioner

Case Management Directions

(The Tribunal Procedure (First-tier Tribunal) (General Regulatory Chamber) Rules 2009)

It is ordered:-

1. The appeal is struck out under Rule 8(3)(a).

REASONS

1.

The Appellant submitted an appeal to this Tribunal by way of a completed form GRC1, dated 21st August 2025. However, the Appellant failed to provide the Tribunal with details of the decision to which the appeal relates, as required by Rule 22(2)(e).

2.

The Tribunal notified the Appellant of this omission in an email of 8th October 2025, which included the Registrar’s case management directions. Those directions required the Appellant to provide a copy of the Decision Notice referred to on form GRC1, namely IC-330809-W5H5, and as the appeal was submitted out of time (the date of the decision was detailed on form GRC1 as being 7th February 2025), it was directed that an application for an extension of time to make an appeal was to be submitted. The date given for compliance with those directions was 20th October 2025.

3.

Those directions notified the Appellant that a failure to comply with the directions may lead to the appeal being struck out under Rule 8.

4.

To date, the Appellant has failed to provide either a copy of the decision to which the appeal relates or an application for an extension of time.
