RYAN MEAD

Appellant

and

DRIVER AND VEHICLE STANDARDS AGENCY

Respondent

Decision: The Appellant’s appeal is struck out under Rule 8(3)(a) of The Tribunal Procedure (First-tier Tribunal) (General Regulatory Chamber) Rules 2009, because the Appellant failed to comply with a direction which stated that failure by the Appellant to comply with the direction could lead to the striking out of the proceedings.

REASONS

1.

The Appellant lodged an appeal using the GRC1 form on 1 October 2024. The appeal was incomplete as the Appellant did not include a copy of the decision he was seeking to challenge.

2.

On 20 January 2025 CMD were issued directing the Appellant to provide a copy of the decision he was seeking to challenge by no later than 31 January 2025.

3.

The Appellant was warned that failure to comply with the direction could lead to the Tribunal striking out the appeal for failure to comply pursuant to Rule 8(3)(a) without further direction.

4.

The Appellant failed to comply with the CMD dated 20 January 2025 and there are grounds to strike out the appeal.
